Coming to paddle in Scotland

Hey I am an paddler with the university of limerick in Ireland, I am coming over to paisely to the university of the west of scotland. They dont seem to have any sort of kayaking club that I can find online so I was wondering what the story is with paddling with ye guys? I have all my own gear apart from a boat and will also have alot of spare time cause I'l be on erasmus. And I really really wanna get out on some of those savage rivers that I keep hearing about!

Hey Bekey,
Someone who maybe knows better can correct me , but , to join our club you have to be matriculated in our university in order to come on our club trips and use our equipment unfortunately which you cant do
There are a few clubs based in Glasgow which are for anyone
http://www.glasgowkayakclub.com/
http://lpkc.wordpress.com/
< PAISLEY based
Also Facebook group for scottish kayakers
https://www.facebook.com/groups/267941769907508/
Hopefully you will find some way of getting out when you're in Scotland and if you get a boat sorted then im sure someone in our club will be around for a private trip.

While you do have to be a glasgow student to actually be a member of the club I think there have been people in the past who just kind of come along on club trips, only they won't let you use uni minibuses and club kit (not sure how allowed this is though)
